"Any consumer can approach our laboratory technicians and conduct both microbiological studies and physical and chemical studies. Ie they can determine, for example, the acidity of the milk, honey on naturalness can see seasonal melons and vegetable crops for nitrates ", - said Head of Public Health Department of Public Health Ministry of Health Public Health Committee Zhanar Orazalina.

It should be noted that the action will be held on an ongoing basis, at least twice a month in the markets and city trade centers. And not only in Astana, but throughout the republic.

Experts point out, most often entrepreneurs are conscientious about their duties, they know that they are responsible for the safety of food products. Therefore, no serious violations were recorded.

"These products are examined before they enter the market. But in order for the consumer to be reinsured, we propose to conduct additional research at the points of sale. Because not every consumer knows that you can ask for laboratory research from the seller. Often a buyer comes, acquires and goes. And now he can come and conduct research any product free of charge, is a unique opportunity for the people ", - explained Zhanar Orazalina

According to the staff of the national centre of expertise, most often nitrates are found in watermelons in early June, at least in the early melons and eggplant. Of course, there are nitrates and other products, but all within acceptable norms.
