FAO creates and disseminates a critical global public good – information on food, agriculture and natural resources. Also acts as a liaison between various partners with authoritative knowledge and experience, and facilitates dialogue between those who have knowledge and those who need it. By transforming knowledge into action, FAO promotes mutually beneficial links between local, national, regional and global initiatives.
